Are you struggling with a specific technique? Do you need to clean up an aspect of your game? It doesn’t matter what it is, we may be able to help you out. The instructors below have donated their experience and time to troubleshoot your problem area.
The process is simple. Make a very short video showing the technique you want to improve, then fill out the form below, and provide as much information as possible. And finally, upload the video. Your video must be as short as possible and you can explain in the video, as long as it doesn’t make the video too long. You are provided with a “Details” section to explain further if your video ends up being too long and doesn’t send.
If the video is too long to send, remove it and make a YouTube video. Then add that link in the space provided. Lastly, wait for one of our instructors to reach out to you.

Owner of Integrated Martial Arts Academy. Mark has been training for 27 years under Pedro Sauer and he is an instructor of Jiu Jitsu, BJJ, Jeet Kune Do, Kali/Escrima, Submission Wrestling, and MMA.

1st Degree Black Belt BJJ, 2nd Dan Black Belt in Judo, and 6th Dan Black Belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu. He is the owner and chief instructor at Pendle Martial Arts Academy in Brierfield, Lancashire UK. John started training in BJJ in 2005 after training Judo for 20 years and being known for his Ne-Waza skills. He was awarded his Black Belt by Lucio Sergio dos Santos in 2016.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Wrestling
Instructor of Elite jiujitsu(RMNU). Shawn has been training in Jiu-Jitsu for 12 years under Jeff Mitchell and Robson Moura. He also has a background in Judo, coaches high school and middle school wrestling along with competing for the past 30+ years.
Black belt under Vicente Junior, has taught at several gyms including for the Dover Air Force base for seven years. 11 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and 7 of competition experience.
Kenneth Brown is a 2nd Degree Black Belt, and his biggest passion is troubleshooting. He gets obsessed about the little details that make technique work, and he’s always re-evaluating current knowledge to see if there is a better way to do things. Kenneth started training in 2007 and he is the owner and head instructor at 2nd Gear Jiu Jitsu.
Owner of Rochester Judo Club. Casey started training in the martial arts at the age of 5 and began serious Judo training in 2000. He received his black belt from Sensei Heiko Rommelmann in 2009. A competitor at heart, Casey focused his training on competition Judo competing successfully at the international level. For the last 10 years, he has been working hard to refine his teaching and coaching strategies to help the next generation of Judo athletes in Rochester NY reach new levels.
Casey also holds a brown belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu and often helps coach BJJ practitioners on how to better utilize Judo throws and takedowns to improve their advantages in BJJ competition.
Dave has training Judo since he was 7 years old and martial arts in general for most of his life. He achieved his Judo black belt in 2009 and is a qualified BJA Judo Coach. He began his BJJ career in January 2017 is currently a purple belt under Cesar Lima at Grand Union BJJ in Farringdon, London
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and instructor under Red Schafer. Matthew has been a grappler for most of his life having started Judo at 5 years old with Norman Miller at Judo, Inc. and progressing to wrestling in 7th grade. Multiple time state place winner in high school, followed by a wrestling career at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Coached by the legendary Dave Schultz and Andy Rein. He won the 1989 180.5lb Espoir Greco-Roman National Championshp, earning the right to represent the USA at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Some of Matt’s more notable athletes include: Ben Askren – Former UFC fighter, Pride FC and Bellator MMA Champion, Alex Dieringer – Multiple time member of the USA Freestyle World Team. 3 x NCA Champion for Oklahoma State, 4 x All-American, an Jessie Thielke – Olympian and multiple time member of the USA Greco Roman World Team.
