The blue belt phase in a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey is probably the most difficult stage. Many practitioners receive their blue belts after 2 to 3 years of training consistently. Only to realize that they are still in the beginner’s level of Jiu-Jitsu. This sometimes causes stress and what we call “The Blue Belt Blues”. And this is often a leading agent to so many practitioners quitting.
The Mafia aims to provide guidance and help to combat this problem and allow them to see some improvement or a light at the end of the tunnel – where things get a little better!
Our blue belt members can cross-reference their experiences with each other to realize they are not alone in this. And our higher belt members are here to help them pass a stage that they were once stuck in before and managed it.
Once you are a registered member, you will have access to our BBM Instructors in the Technique Troubleshooting section. Our specialized team of black belts will review a short video you would submit demonstrating the technique that requires attention. Once a review is ready, you will be contacted with detailed feedback to fix it. This includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling.
